Will Hudgins Studio is a California-based woodworking studio creating thoughtfully designed furniture built to be lived with for generations.

What started as a passion for working with his hands has grown into a small furniture company focused on making pieces that feel timeless, tactile, and distinctly our own. Will works primarily with solid hardwoods, combining traditional woodworking techniques with clean, mid-century-inspired forms and a relaxed California sensibility.

What’s new at the studio?

We’re expanding beyond one-off pieces and developing a growing collection of furniture designed to work together—from dining tables and chairs to bed-frames, case goods, and lounge pieces. Each design is built around the same idea: simple forms, honest materials, and details that reward a closer look.

We’re also exploring new woods, finishes, textiles, and construction techniques while continuing to make each piece in small quantities. The goal isn’t to make more furniture just for the sake of it, but to build a collection of pieces worth keeping.

Every piece is made with intention, from selecting the lumber to shaping the final edge and applying the finish. We believe good furniture should show the character of the material, feel great in your hands, and become better with age.

Will has a passion to continue to grow his business and community in San Diego. If you are looking to commission a custom piece, please reach out about your next project!
